Description of the position and key responsibilities: We are looking for a Second Engineer to work on board a general cargo vessel. The selected candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ship’s engines and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance during the voyage. Additionally, they will need to coordinate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
Requirements and qualifications: Valid STCW certificates and current medical certificate. Previous experience on the same type of vessel and in the same rank. Proficiency in English at a professional level.
