Black Sea Contractors is looking for a Second Engineer to join the crew of a heavy load carrier ship operating in Europe. The company is well-known for its expertise in managing specialized maritime fleets.
Job Description and Key Responsibilities: The Second Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and proper functioning of the ship’s engines and mechanical systems. Regular inspections, fault diagnostics, and repair work will be necessary to ensure the operational and safety of the vessel. Collaborating closely with the onboard engineering team and following the Chief Engineer’s guidelines are also part of the job.
Requirements and Qualifications: Several years of experience as a Second Engineer on cargo ships or similar vessels. Demonstrable experience with MAN B&W engines. Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
