Description of the position and key functions: An opportunity is offered for the position of Second Engineer in the offshore sector, collaborating with one of our most recognised partners. The main functions include the supervision and maintenance of engineering systems on board the vessel, ensuring efficient and safe operation of all equipment. Previous experience on ships flying the flag of the United Kingdom will be valued.
Requirements and qualifications: Previous experience in the offshore sector. Technical knowledge in equipment maintenance on board. Ability to work in rotating shifts of 5 weeks. Competencies in the operation and supervision of naval engineering systems.
Additional details: The salary is £370 per day, subject to NI deduction due to the UK flag. The position offers a 5-week on board employment rotation and 5 weeks off. Permanent employment is considered for those candidates who demonstrate outstanding performance.
