Second Engineer for Supply Platform in Namibia – Seacover UA
Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Second Engineer for a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) with DP2 system. Responsibilities include maintenance and operation of the main engine Wartsila 9L20, ensuring optimal operation of the diesel-electric propulsion system in a demanding environment such as the merchant navy.
Requirements and qualifications: Ukrainian nationality and age limit of 55 years. Minimum 12 months of experience in the same rank and type of vessel. Mandatory qualifications: DPM certificate, experience in WARTSILA diesel-electric on PSV. Good level of English. Current documentation required: passport, seaman’s book, competency certificate/endorsement, and STCW documents. Full vaccination certificate.
Additional details: The contract is for 2 months on board, followed by 2 months off. The operating region is West Africa, specifically Namibia. Immediate availability to join the vessel upon visa receipt.
