Description of the role and key responsibilities: WishToSail.com digital magazine shares a job opportunity for the position of Second Engineer (2E) on board a container ship with a deadweight of 42,157 tonnes. Selected candidates will be part of a crew working for one of the seven largest shipowners in Germany, responsible for the maintenance and technical operation of the ship’s engineering systems during a 4-month contract.
Requirements and qualifications: EU citizenship is required. Previous experience on container ships and specialized training in maritime engineering will be valued. Bonuses for re-entry and loyalty are offered, as well as a no-cost employment service for the candidate.
