Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
As a Second Officer, main responsibilities include assisting in navigation and supervising operations on board the self-discharging barge. Tasks will involve route planning, monitoring crew performance, and assisting in overseeing loading and unloading operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Prior experience in similar roles on barge vessels is required. Appropriate certification for the Second Officer position and training in maritime safety are essential. The ability to work in a team and efficiently solve problems will be highly valued.
