Third Engineer for Bulk Carrier Capesize – NOVEMBER – £4,300-£4,400
Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Third Engineer to work on a Bulk Carrier Capesize built in 2011 with a deadweight of 179,558 tonnes, equipped with a MAN B&W 6S70MC main engine. Responsibilities include maintenance and operation of the ship’s propulsion system, supervision of machinery, and coordination with the technical team to ensure efficient operation of the vessel.
Requirements and qualifications: Minimum 12 months of experience in the same position on board a ship of the same type. Good level of English, necessary for onboard communication.
Additional details: Salary: £4,300 – £4,400 or equivalent in euros. 4-month contract with the possibility of extension for an additional 2 months. Expected start date: NOVEMBER.
