We are seeking a qualified Third Engineer (MTRM) to join the crew of a Heavy Lift Vessel (HVL) operating on the Canada-Argentina route. This position offers a fixed-term contract with a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a mixed crew on a specialised vessel.
Offer Details
- Salary: 2384 USD/month
- Location: Navigation zone: Canada-Argentina
- Contract: 4-month contract +/-1 month

- Required Training: Official nautical training as an Engineer Officer and STCW certification required

Requirements
- EU citizenship or valid Canadian visa
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) for MTRM
- Previous experience on heavy lift vessels or similar (according to industry practice)
Responsibilities
- Supervision and maintenance of the vessel’s propulsion and auxiliary systems
- Control of the engine room and related equipment
- Compliance with onboard safety and environmental procedures
- Support to the Chief Engineer in daily operations (according to STCW, typical functions include power plant management, supervision of engine room crew, and emergency response)
