Description of the role and key responsibilities: We are looking to fill the position of Third Officer on board a Panamax bulk carrier, built in 2009 in South Korea, with a DWT of 169057 tons. The selected person will be responsible for supporting the supervision of the ship’s daily operations, ensuring safety and efficiency in navigation, and assisting in cargo management and navigation equipment maintenance.
Requirements and qualifications: Minimum of 12 months of experience in the Third Officer rank. Good level of English. Previous experience on similar type of vessels (bulk carriers).
Additional details: Salary between £3200 and £3500 US dollars or the equivalent in euros. 4-month contract with possibility of extension for an additional 2 months. Expected start date in August.
