Are you an experienced engineer looking for a new challenge in the maritime industry? Stella Marine Company Ltd is currently seeking a Unique Engineer to join their team on board a general cargo ship with a deadweight of 3200 tonnes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the handling and maintenance of the ship’s propulsion systems and machinery, ensuring efficient and safe operation at all times.
Key responsibilities:
- Handling and maintenance of propulsion systems and machinery.
- Experience with heavy fuels.
- Ensuring efficient and safe operation of the ship.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Minimum of two contracts of experience in a similar range on ships of a similar type.
- Experience with heavy fuels.
- Stable maritime service record.
- Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (more than 3000 kW) and relevant certificates.
- Good level of English.
Additional details:
- Salary: £5000-£5400 GBP.
- Contract duration: 4 months.
- Start date: 15th January 2026.
