Bosun – M/Y ‘Ocean Breeze’ – Mediterranean

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bosun to join the crew of the M/Y ‘Ocean Breeze’, a 45-metre luxury motor yacht. This is a permanent position with a start date of 15th June 2024. The role involves leading deck operations and maintenance while ensuring the highest standards of safety and service on board.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Bosun on luxury yachts.
  • Valid STCW certification (including basic safety training).
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise deck crew and coordinate daily deck operations.
  • Oversee maintenance of deck equipment, including tenders and water toys.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with guest services and activities as required.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of deck supplies.

Contract Details

Contract type: Permanent, with a salary of €4,500 per month. The itinerary includes cruising the Mediterranean, with ports in Spain, France, Italy, and Greece. Accommodation and meals are provided on board.
