Chief Officer Position for Offshore Support Vessel at Orca Crew Services – Qatar
Description of the position and key functions: Orca Crew Services is looking for a Chief Officer to join an offshore support vessel in Qatar, operating for Qatargas. The role requires a permanent rotation of 8:8 weeks. Main responsibilities include overseeing onboard operations and collaborating on tasks relevant to navigation and offshore support.
Requirements and qualifications: A minimum of 12 months’ experience in the same rank on a DP2 survey vessel is required. Previous experience with Qatar Energy or Qatar Petroleum is advantageous. Additionally, at least 6 months of experience in seabed scanning surveys or Tow Fish surveys is requested.
Additional details: The initial contract is for 12 weeks, with the possibility of permanent rotation. The company will handle visa or work permit arrangements before travel. The start date is as soon as possible.
