Orca Crew Services is looking for a Captain and a Chief Officer available to join an offshore support vessel in Qatar (Qatargas). The roles include overseeing operations on a DP2 Survey Vessel, with specific responsibilities in subsea surveys and survey equipment management.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Captain: Minimum 24 months of experience in the same rank on a DP2 Survey vessel. Experience with Qatar Energy or Qatar Petroleum is preferred, along with 6 months of experience in seabed surveys or “Tow Fish” surveys (as-laid surveys).
  • Chief Officer: Minimum 12 months of experience in the same rank on a DP2 Survey vessel. Preferable experience with Qatar Energy or Qatar Petroleum, and 6 months in seabed surveys or “Tow Fish” surveys (as-laid surveys).

Additional Details

The contract will start as soon as possible, with an initial duration of 12 weeks and a permanent rotation of 8 weeks on duty followed by 8 weeks off. Work permits and visas will be arranged before travel.
