Description of the position and key functions: A General Cargo Electrician is sought to work on a general cargo ship with the following characteristics: GRT 5000/DWT 7800, built in 2002 and flagged in Palau. Tasks include maintenance and operation of the main MAK 8M32C engine, KW 3800/BHP 5200, and other electrical equipment on the ship during its global commercial operations.

Requirements and qualifications: The candidate must be of Ukrainian nationality, under 52 years old, and have at least 12 months of experience in a similar position on vessels with cranes. It is essential to have a COC STCW III/7 or III/6 competency certificate, a good level of technical English, and have all valid documents (PP, SB, COC, and STCW). Full vaccination is required.

Additional details: The contract is for 5 months with the possibility of extension for an additional 2 months. Joining is scheduled between 26 and 27 July. The salary is $3000 USD per month. The offer is valid until 25 July 2025.
