Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a Multipurpose Support Vessel (MPSV) DP2, operating under ADNOC in the United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities include the maintenance and efficient operation of the vessel’s propulsion system and machinery, ensuring safe and effective operation according to established standards.
Requirements and qualifications: Minimum experience of 24 months in the same rank on similar vessels. Competence in DP system maintenance and maintenance record keeping in compliance with IMCA guidelines. Experience in Azimuthal Propulsion Systems (ASD) is an advantage. Knowledge of Niigata engines and experience in DSV/ROV DPO.
