Job Description and Key Responsibilities:
The Second Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the operation and maintenance of the main propulsion system and other auxiliary equipment on board the ship. They will oversee daily operations in the engine room and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 months of experience in the position
- Prior experience on Capesize-type Bulk Carriers
- Good level of English proficiency
- Practical knowledge in MAN B&W main engines
Additional Details:
- Contract duration: 4 +/- 1 month
- Job location: Worldwide
- Deadweight of the vessel: 150,000 DWT
