Second Engineer for Container Ship – Wilhelmsen Marine Personnel Ukraine Ltd. – Competitive Contract and Salary
Description of the position and key functions: We are looking for a Second Engineer (2E) to join a container ship starting in April. The vessel, built in 2007, has a deadweight of 22,314 tonnes and a capacity of 1,713 TEU. The engine is a BW Diesel A/S 7S60MC-C. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the supervision and maintenance of the ship’s propulsion systems and machinery.
Requirements and qualifications: It is essential to have experience in MC engines and experience in mixed crews. A good knowledge of the English language is required, as well as a stable maritime service and positive characteristics from previous employers.
Additional details: The proposed contract is for 4 months plus/minus 1 month. The salary ranges between 8,300 and 8,700 USD, depending on time in rank. No fees will be charged to applicants.
